IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION
Booking: Booking is finalized when a completed form is received, a scheduled date/time is confirmed by Fairy Jennabelle and the required pre-payment is received.
Retainer: A full pre-payment is required to hold the date, which is non-refundable if client cancels for any reason. Once you submit a completed form, you will receive an electronic invoice. This invoice must be paid the day it is received or requested date/time of service will not be held.
Cancellation: The booking pre-payment is non-refundable. Refunds are not given for last minute cancellations due to illness or inclement weather. Rain dates are not offered, so be sure to have a back up location for your party! See FAQ page for further explanation.
Parking: As we often carry heavy equipment, parking MUST be provided and guaranteed AT/DIRECTLY NEXT TO the venue of your event. Parking costs and/or entry fees to your event must be paid for by the client with the pre-payment. If a permit is required please ensure this is provided to us prior to your event. If your party is in the city with only street parking or at a busy park, you must reserve a space in front of the party location for the artist. This can be done by parking there in advance and then moving the car when the artist arrives. If you can not guarantee parking then we will not be able to book your event.
Working Conditions: Client shall provide adequate shelter from the sun, wind, rain, or moisture in the air to protect the Artist, artist costumes & equipment. (A tree is not shelter, a picnic shelter with no walls is also not adequate shelter.) If the temperature outside is lower than 50 degrees, the face painting station must be set up in an indoor or heated location. (Painting in the cold is a safety issue because I can’t wear gloves while painting, and it poses a safety risk to paint people’s faces with numb fingers. Noses also run in the cold, so it’s hard to tell who is really sick!) Artist has the right to cease painting and leave without refunding any monies if there are extreme adverse working conditions and the Client fails to remedy the situation after it has been brought to the Client’s attention. Adverse conditions included but not limited to: inadequate lighting, placement near loud music, destructive, violent, or extreme; inappropriate behaviors; illegal activities; dangerous weather including placement in direct sun, extreme hot or cold temperatures, strong winds or difficult/ dangerous conditions in general. An adult must be present with Artist and children for the duration of the event. Under no circumstances will Artists supervise children.
Liability Statement: Only FDA compliant paints and cosmetic grade glitters are used for face painting. For sanitary reasons, Artist will not paint anyone who is or appears to be sick or suffering from: cold sores; conjunctivitis; any infectious skin condition; eczema or open wounds. Artist is not liable for any Covid-19 related illness. Artist will use reasonable care, but is not responsible for damage to clothing or property. Artist is not liable for any parties’ allergic reactions to paints.
Magic Show: If booking our magic show you will receive an information sheet via email that details our space requirements.
