The Real Story…
In September of 2019 someone brought their child, very sick with bacterial pneumonia, to a party. Within three days of painting that child’s face, Fairy Jennabelle was coughing so hard, she developed a vocal hemorrhage that cut off her ability to speak. She worked hard in vocal therapy for six months to regain her voice. It’s something she still has to work on every day. The book ‘Fairy Jennabelle Lost Her Voice’ was created to teach children that sometimes healing doesn't just end. It just becomes a new way of life... a new you. Patience is a part of healing, as is having people who can help you. Fairy Jennabelle donated her book for the children's section of the rehabilitation waiting room at Inova and will be forever grateful to her 'fairy helper' vocal therapists that worked tirelessly to get her 'voice shimmer' back!
